The Exhibition “Create Yourself”
17 November 2008 at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art an unusual exhibition was opened. This day the artists were children and their guests were adults.
No everyone can boast of being an artist at the age of 6 or 12, not everyone can look at a real album with their very own drawings and invite their family and friends to the opening of their own art exhibition.
The children who participated in the “Create Yourself” program did all this – and more.

Jobs & Careers (Fall 2008)
Everyone has an opinion about the 'chinovnik' - the Russian civil servant. But what do they say about themselves? For the fall edition of Jobs and Careers we spoke to two civil servants. They're young, hard-working and ambitious. And according to one of Russia's top captains of industry, they'd be far better advised to go into business. "There are young people who go to work in state service right after graduation," said billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov in a recent speech to students at his alma mater, the state Financial Academy. "I recommend that you only go into business. Only there will you find drive and real life." So why is it that so many young people, against his advice, are still trying to make a career in the civil service and what are the prospects? And is it something they'd recommend to other young people looking for a high-flying career?

Real Estate Quarterly III
It sounds a bit too like the sort of terrible cliche usually spouted by an elderly relative to say that we can't believe it's already over a whole year since Sochi won its bid to host the 2014 Olympics, but it really is the case. So how's it all going down there? Sophie Cooper's overview of the situation in Sochi kicks off this issue's Market Update.
