Lufthansa has opened a new business lounge at Domodedovo Airport.

17 April 2008Lufthansa has moved its Moscow operations from Sheremyetvo to Domodedovo and has opened a new business-class lounge there. During the month of May, the airline is also offering a special price on flights to China and Latin America. Flights between Moscow and Nanking or Guangzhou will run to 8,890 rubles and flights to Beijing will cost 12,640 rubles, excluding taxes and fees. Travel to China must take place from May 1 to 31, 2008. The airline is offering fares to Caracas, Venezuela, from a number of Russian cities, including Nizhny Novgorod and Ufa, for 8,255 rubles. Fares from Russia to Sao Paulo, Brazil, run to 13,470 rubles, before taxes and fees. Travel to Latin American destinations must take place from May 1 to June 15. www.lufthansa.com

Sky Express is offering a special promotion for midweek flights. Until April 30, registered users can buy a half-price ticket for travel on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. www.skyexpress.ru

On April 27, S7 will introduce a direct flight between Moscow and Dublin. The route will operate Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, leaving Moscow at 8:35 p.m., arriving in Dublin at 9:55 p.m. The return flight leaves Dublin at 10:35 p.m. and arrives in Moscow at 5:30 a.m. the following day. S7 is offering special introductory web-only fares of 99 euros one way and 198 euros return. www.S7.ru

Until May 15, Transaero is offering special round-trip fares between Moscow and Khabarovsk (9,800 rubles), Sochi (3,510 rubles), St. Petersburg (2,940 rubles) and Yekaterinburg (5,105 rubles). The airline also has a special fare of 247 euros round-trip between Moscow and Frankfurt. www.transaero.ru
